Misha Nonen

Misha Nonen provides strategic leadership and day-to-day management of Pretrial Services and Queens Supervised Release, including the Outreach and Peer Services units.

Misha comes to CJA with over 20 years of non-profit leadership experience in program and project management. Misha has a wealth of experience spearheading the development, implementation and performance management of programs and services for some of the City’s most vulnerable communities. Misha formerly worked at Community Mediation Services (CMS), a Queens-based non-profit that serves justice involved youth through diversion, therapeutic and community- based programming. During her time at CMS, Misha succeeded at elevating program success and expanding strategic partnerships. Prior to her time at CMS, Misha was the VP of Health and Wellness at Covenant House, where she led the delivery of health and wellness programs for homeless youth and ensured that programs and services were rooted in evidenced based practices.
