Bosco Villavicencio joined CJA as a Research Assistant in January 2023. Broadly, his research interests include quantitative methods, juvenile justice, and statistical software. He has previously taught undergraduate courses related to sociology, criminological theory, deviance, stratification, victimology, and youth, crime, and justice at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Prior to joining CJA, Bosco worked in criminal justice research and quantitative methods with faculty at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice, project managers at the Vera Institute of Justice, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Additionally, Bosco received his Master of Arts in Criminal Justice specializing in quantitative research and juvenile justice, and a Bachelor of Arts from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a concentration in corrections and sociological theory.
