Read the Research Brief
This brief analyzes research surrounding court date notifications and their effectiveness
The New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA) provides court date notification to all people released pretrial through its live call center staffed by CJA Outreach Associates. This program was not always in existence. Can you share some of the lessons learned from creating this type of notification system? What worked well and what would you have done differently?
What are the key elements of CJA’s Outreach work that has shown success in supporting people’s return to court?

What advice would you give other pretrial service agencies that might not have the staffing in place to perform this type of work?
