
Stephen Koppel joined CJA as a Junior Research Analyst in 2017. His research interests include drug policy, juvenile justice, and prosecutorial discretion. Prior to joining CJA, he was a Behavioral Science Training (BST) Fellow in Drug Abuse Research at New York University. He has taught courses in criminal justice at John Jay College, and has published several articles on law and criminal justice related topics. He has a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, a Ph.D. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and is a member of the New York State Bar.
