
Jasmine Hwang holds a B.A. in Criminology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY, an M.A. in International Crime and Justice from the same institution, and an additional M.A. in Quantitative Methods in Social Sciences from Columbia University. With a foundation as a Crime Victim Advocate at the NYPD through Safe Horizon, she later served as a Clinical Case Manager at the New York City Criminal Justice Agency in 2021. Jasmine's impactful career extends to groundbreaking research, including collaboration with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, where she contributed to developing best practices for police response in sexual crime. Recognized as a coauthor, she presented her findings at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. Currently, Jasmine works as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at CJA combining her academic prowess, practical experience, and research accomplishments to ensure legal and contractual compliance within the criminal justice system, showcasing her commitment to justice and positive change.
