Elizabeth Saba
Associate Director of Policy and Planning

Elizabeth Saba is the Associate Director of Policy and Planning. In this role she oversees a team of planning staff dedicated to leading the design and implementation of new and existing projects at CJA. Since joining CJA’s Operations Department in 2017, Elizabeth has provided direction and oversight on multiple grant-funded technical assistance and policy projects at the state and national level.

Prior to joining CJA, Elizabeth was the Project Manager of Juvenile Justice at the Council of State Governments Justice Center. In that role she oversaw technical assistance to local and state juvenile justice agencies implementing the Second Chance Act and other programs funded by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs and awarded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Liz has practitioner experience working with youth, their families and communities directly impacted by the justice system. She received her BA from Kenyon College and her MSW from Columbia University.
