COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and more

I think I may have COVID-19. What should I do, and where can I get tested?

There are many health care providers, pharmacies and government facilities, including mobile and pop-up testing sites, offering testing — often free — throughout the city. For information about COVID-19, including where to get a free at-home test and where to find a testing site, please click here.

If you want to find general vaccine information or to sign up to get vaccinated, please click here. Vaccines are available at no cost and regardless of immigration status.

NYC urges its residents to use these important tools to fight respiratory viruses:

  • Stay up-to-date on vaccinations – for COVID-19 and flu.

  • Get the updated COVID-19 bivalent booster.

  • Wear a high-quality mask, such as a KN95 or KF94, that covers your nose and mouth.

  • Test before and after travel or gatherings, or if you were recently exposed to someone who has COVID-19.

  • Stay home if sick.

  • Wash your hands.

Consider additional precautions if you are at increased risk of severe illness.
