DISPOSITIONS IN CRIMINAL COURT
Convictions include pleas of guilty and findings of guilty after trial. Dism/ACD includes cases that were dismissed and ACDs (adjournments in contemplation of dismissal), as well as a handful of cases that went to trial and ended in acquittal. TR-SC (Transfers to Supreme Court) are cases sustained at the felony severity level in Criminal Court. They are transferred to the Supreme Court (upper court), usually following indictment by the Grand Jury, for further prosecution and final disposition. Cases with other dispositions, such as transfers to Family Court and those with outstanding warrants, are excluded.
